5th Anniversary Show This Saturday

Hello all you Scenesters out there! It has been a very productive year for us as an organization and we are proud to be gearing up for our 5th Year Anniversary Concert at Herman's Hideaway on Saturday December 2nd. We have an epic line up of youth and adult musicians coming through to celebrate with us, including Hazel Miller, Over the Castle, Mr. Steak and Wake the Bat. It is going to be a great party.

We would like to thank the Rock it Forward Fund for putting in so much time and effort towards this event and would also like to congratulate our co-befeciearies on the show, Youth on Record, for doing a wonderful job ensuring that music remains accessible to children in our city. See the press release below for more details and please reach out to with any questions.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday,

Youth on Record is a program that empowers 1,000 teens in some of Denver’s most vulnerable communities to make life choices that positively impact their future by teaching them to develop the coping tools, inspiration, and wherewithal to succeed in today’s world and to become leaders of tomorrow through the power of music.

The Mile High Scenesters mission is to provide a community-based platform for youth musicians in the Denver metro area by fostering an environment of creativity and mentorship. As of the spring of 2017, MHS has hosted nearly 20 concerts (most at the legendary Herman’s Hideaway), has been honored by Denver Public Schools with the 2014 Helen B. Phelps Award in connection with the instruments MHS has provided the district, and is producing music with kids from all musical walks of life."
